Faculty Lounge

Faculty Lounge: once considered the most pretentious faculty rock band at Susquehanna University; now, simply the best. Actually, the only. Formed in the dog days of August 2002, the band began when guitarists Laurence Roth and Terry Winegar, drummer Pat Long, and singer David Imhoof realized the only way they were going to find the time to see much live music was to do it themselves. Bass players seem to be a pretty rare breed around here, so the band convinced Winegar to drop a couple of strings and go low. Four weeks later they debuted on the SU campus, to considerable surprise and some acclaim. Since then they've played Riverfest, an exclusive engagement for small people at the YMCA, the Kind Cafe, Morey's Pier in N.J. and every venue in the greater Selinsgrove area with a name derived from Charles. In their spare time Faculty Lounge members like to teach history, English, and music composition at Susquehanna, and one of them is even a Dean there.
